Clients and the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007
The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2007 apply to most construction and demolition projects and may therefore affect the owner or occupier of a commercial building. The regulations place express duties on all persons who can contribute to the management of safety of a construction project.
The biggest change to safety management within the construction industry sees greater responsibilities placed on the Clients as well as: Designers; Planning Supervisors/Co-ordinators; Principal Contractors and Contractors.
The object of this course is to provide an understanding of the regulations and the specific duties placed on the client as defined by the regulations.
